Ok, let's take you through things that you
need to know...
Firstly do you have a
provisional driving
licence?
- (you must have one before starting to
drive on public roads), if not, click on the
DVLA link opposite and apply on line...
Before you can book your practical driving test you need to pass the Theory and Hazard perception tests, click on the link opposite and you can book on line at the DSA and even take a mock test. If this is your first time driving it's recommended that you gain a few hours road experience before booking this.
When it comes to booking your practical driving test, your instructor will discuss the details with you, which test centre, best time of day etc. Both of you should be in agreement that you are ready to take this step. The practical test costs £62 plus 2 hours of your instructors time, so from that point of view it's not something to be taken lightly!
