121 Driving Success (hereafter called
121) Terms & Conditions
1. Payment
for lessons must be made in full before the lesson
begins. Payment can be made by cash or personal cheque.
2. All pupils must have their provisional driving
licence with them during driving lessons.
3. Whilst every effort is made to keep appointments,
121 reserve the right to cancel lessons at short
notice. This may be due to mechanical breakdown/adverse
traffic/weather conditions or instructor illness. No
compensation will be paid for late cancellation by 121.
4. Every effort will be made to notify pupils if the
instructor is running late, this will usually be via
text messaging.
5. 121 cannot be held responsible for cancellations of
driving tests due to Examiner illness/industrial
action/adverse weather conditions/mechanical breakdown
of tuition vehicle. The full instruction charge will
apply in any of the above cases.
6. Driving Test bookings always take priority over driving lessons.
7. 121 reserve the right to withdraw the tuition
vehicle for the day of the test if in the instructors’
opinion the pupil is not deemed to be of the required
standard.
8. It is illegal to smoke in the tuition vehicle.
Smoking breaks can be included if pupils so wish.
9. Mobile phones must be switched off
at all times in the
tuition vehicle.
10. At least 24 hours notice must be given for
cancellation of driving lessons. Less than 24 hours and
a £10 penalty will be charged. 121 reserves the right
to charge full lesson price for "no shows"
11. Pupils should not attend lessons under the
influence of drink or drugs. If the instructor suspects
this to be the case the lesson will be terminated and
the full lesson price charged.
12. Offer to pay for retest. Pupil must have no
previous driving school expeience before starting with
121. Pupil must maintain minimum of 2 hours of lessons
per week (taken in 2 hour blocks), we believe that
pupils who maintain this level of driving instruction
have a much better chance of passing their test 1st
time.
